I am currently a PhD student in Cognitive Science and Language at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
My research focuses on morphology, syntax, semantics, and their interfaces, particularly in relation to generalizations arising from Talmy’s typology of verb-framed and satellite-framed languages.
In my PhD program, I aim to investigate how manner and result are encoded across Mandarin Chinese, English, Catalan, and Spanish, and to examine how the encyclopaedic knowledge in roots constrains their distribution and interaction with syntax.
